InDesign for Beginners: Creating PDF Portfolios and other Multi-Page Documents

InDesign is a fantastic page layout application. It's the best method to create clean and professional PDF documents. With the information in this session, you will be able to easily generate documents such as: portfolios, book layouts, newsletters, catalogs, resumes and cover letters.

Session topics include:
- Navigating InDesign
- Creating Graphics and Generating Type
- Working with Imported Images
- And my personal favorite.... Utilizing Styles and Master Pages for Consistency

This course is perfect for anyone who has familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator, and would like to expand their Adobe knowledge. A must for any artist who needs to generate an easily-portable portfolio!

If you have images you would like to work with, please bring them on a CD or USB drive.

Rose Figliomeni Khan is an artist who finds herself happily caught between the titles of graphic designer and illustrator. She enjoys creating artwork for educational and social-activist organizations. Her clients have included Gaylord Bros., Inc, Action for a Better Community and the Monroe County Public Libraries. Her environmental artwork series Polar Barometers was recently featured in the RIT Sustainability Anthology. Rose is currently a graduate student in the MST Art Education program. She holds an AAS in Graphic Design and a BFA in Illustration.
